1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services

Tech Bros provides IT support services including in-home, on-site, and remote assistance. Services are provided on a best-efforts basis.

3. Appointments and Access

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the issue and devices

  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to your premises

  • Supervise minors if services are provided in a residential setting

4. Fees and Payment

  • Fees will be communicated prior to service delivery

  • Payment is due as agreed (e.g. upon completion or invoice terms)

  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

  • We request reasonable notice for cancellations

  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, data loss, or hardware failure

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss

  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data

Nothing in these Terms limits rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You acknowledge that:

  • IT work carries inherent risks

  • Data backup is your responsibility unless otherwise agreed

  • Devices may fail due to age, condition, or prior damage

8. Use of Contractors

We may use freelance or contract technicians. All technicians are required to comply with our confidentiality and conduct standards.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials remain the property of Tech Bros Limited and may not be used without permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
